We love our 2023 pilot!! As a family who frequently road trips with our three kids AND golden retriever the removable middle seat is a game changer. We can do three across for day to day and then move to bucket seats so our dog can ride between the two captains chairs and our oldest in the third row for a road trip. It’s tight but we are able to get our luggage all in the trunk with the third row up, not taking a stroller, and utilizing the middle seat storage depth in the trunk. We may consider a roof topper in the future. Love this car so much as a family who probably needed a larger full size SUV but that wouldn’t fit in our garage!

Overall, I really like my 2019 Honda Pilot Elite and would absolutely consider buying another Pilot when it’s time for a new vehicle. One of my favorite things about the Elite trim is the added features. The heated and cooled seats are something I use all the time, and the entertainment package has been nice to have. The Pilot also worked really well with car seats when my kids were younger, although that’s no longer a major consideration for us. There are a few things that have been frustrating. The Apple CarPlay connection is wired and has always been somewhat unreliable, so I ended up getting a Bluetooth adapter rather than dealing with the cord. The built-in wireless phone chargers have also never worked particularly well for me. Despite those annoyances, the overall experience has been very positive. It’s been a comfortable, practical family vehicle, and I like having the higher-level trim and features. If I were shopping for a new vehicle today, I would definitely look at a newer Honda Pilot.

Love the car seat tilt, captains chairs, tech features. Decent trunk room, especially with the lower trunk area. Small gripe with the center console. I had a 2019 Buick Envision prior to this one and the way it opened and was organized was much preferred. For car seats, these were not bought specifically for this vehicle, but it’s working. I have a Doona in the captains chair behind the driver, a RF Evenflo 360 on the captains behind the passenger (kind of right), and a Diono 3R in the back.

I don’t love the way she looks, but I love our Sienna. Wanted a hybrid van for the long run and decided on Sienna for proven hybrid engine reliability. Gas mileage is great. Wish van had party tricks but ultimately reliability won. My girls love ceiling vents so that and hybrid ruled out Honda for us. Carnival close contender but wanted something I could drive forever as we keep cars until we can’t.

I love this car! The interior feels spacious without feeling like you’re driving a massive vehicle. Technology for the driver is good as CarPlay compatible. Second row is on sliders so you can have more legroom, room for car seats, or more trunk space. The trunk is good and spacious and has a secret compartment underneath. I do wish the second row had overhead ceiling vents, but they do have vents from the middle console which is better than nothing. Overall, very happy!

I really enjoy this car. I previously drove a Nissan Rogue and wanted something a little bigger, but I wasn't ready to step into the full sized SUV space. I love the look of the Telluride. I think it fits our two car seats in the second row really well and I have car seats with larger profiles. I enjoy the interior styling and I think it has pretty good tech. It has ceiling vents, sunshades, heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, and a sunglasses holder :)

Love my new mom car! We have the hybrid version and I love the gas mileage we are getting with not having to compromise on the size. I commute 70 miles one way to work so I needed something that was not a gas guzzler. I’m averaging about 37 miles to the gallon on my drive to and from work! It fits our family so well with our toddler and another little one expected in a few weeks. We live very much on the go between farm life, family cabin, and traveling to see other family. We are usually gone every single weekend. I love the set up of the bench in the 2nd row and laying the third row down for extra cargo room. Gives me piece of mind that my kids are still safe in the second row with the third row down. My only complaint is that the technology has been a huge learning curve. After 3 weeks I finally feel like I’m getting it figured out. Chat GPT has also been our friend learning the technology. I love how zippy the hybrid version is with the EV. Doesn’t feel like a typical mini van. Also sliding doors all the way with little kids! Thanks Kelly and Liz for the influence we can’t wait for all the memories in our Carnival!

Great for 1-2 kids. Middle seat is small and uncomfortable for larger child/adult. You can do 3 across if you have slim car seats. Easily fits a stroller in the trunk, but traveling on vacation with two little kids is tight!

The Rogue is a solid, easy vehicle that my family loves. I’ve had two, and my husband just bought one. It’s roomy for our family, easy to maintain, some might say the engine is a bit anemic but it gets us where we need to go and it’s great on gas with a 3cyl engine. I’m not a huge “fully loaded” person, it has all bells and whistles I think most cars have, and that’s really all we need. It’s great in the winter and I really have no complaints.

This car is two car seat friendly but not for very tall drivers. My husband is six feet and does not fit comfortably with either the infant seat or FF car seat behind the driver. I am 5’ 2” and I can comfortably sit with both seats behind me. It can easily fit a double Zoe stroller in the trunk with some space for other items. Drives well in the snow as I live in the Northeast so it has seen many snow storms.

We love the size and functionality of the Wagoneer for our 3 kids. We have a second row bench, so we 3 across fairly comfortably. Car seat tilt allows easy access to the third row, which is spacious. We've had a couple mechanical issues unfortunately, but everything has been covered by the warranty. I think the interior styling of this car is much nicer than its competitors. Would definitely recommend!

This car has functioned great for us as we have grown into a family of 4. We almost always ride with the 3rd row down and we can fit our 60 lb labradoodle in the back with no issues. We haven’t had a problem choosing a car seat because of the spacious second row, and I can’t get over how good the second row amenities are! Sun shades and ceiling vents make this super comfortable for babies and toddlers alike. When we have rented or driven other cars temporarily, I quickly miss the amenities of my Kia Telluride. We add a cargo carrier on the top for extra space when taking longer trips, and this has worked great for us. We’ve only had 2 maintenance/repair issues in the 4.5 years we have owned the car, making it very reliable for us.

As a mom of one, this car checks all the boxes for me. We have the 2026 hybrid, and most days I don’t use any gas at all. I’m currently averaging about 250 miles per gallon, which is consistent with the average I achieved over the two years I owned my 2024 model. We rarely use the third row, but the built-in booster seat is perfect for our 7-year-old. Two adults can comfortably sit beside her, and everyone still has plenty of room. I also love having the 3rd row down for my Costco hauls.

We upgraded from a Ford Explorer after having our second kid. Both of our kids are still rear facing in the second row captain's chairs and my husband is 6'3". The extra room that the Expedition gives us makes so much difference for him. The extra cargo space has been an added bonus with two kids and a dog! As of yet, we haven't really utilized the third row, but we love this car so much!

I have been so pleasantly surprised by this van. I was pretty pessimistic about liking on and vetoed every one we test drove until I got in the Carnival. I’ve LOVED having and have been eating my words since we bought it. You won’t regret the sliding doors, the gas mileage (we have the hybrid!) or the space! We ended up removing the seat behind the passenger & the second row middle seat too! It’s been amazing with 3 kids!

2 kids in car seats, both rear facing. We have the denali trim and i am obsessed! Great room with third row down, and honestly great room behind third row too. Can fit in a travel stroller, and plenty of bags with third row up. Rotating car seat installed with latch and makes third row access super easy with car seAt tilt for when we have more passengers. I have the white/beige interior and i LOVE. Super easy to clean. Haven't had any messes I haven't been able to get out with a quick wipe down. The big screen has grown on me and now i don't mind it. Took me awhile to get used to in the beginning. Lots of cup holders, i love that there are 4 all accessible from the driver seat. Love the underpass area under the console for storage. Love the look of it! Overall, I feel like it has a lot of space without having to go full size SUV or mini van!

I have loved this car for my family of 4! I bought the Atlas when I had one child who was just under 2 years old. After watching Kelly’s reviews of the car, my general interest in VW and the fact that I thought we’d have 3 kids, I thought this would be the best vehicle long term for our family. We added a second child to the family a little more than a year after getting it so I’ve had a rear facing and infant car seat and then a rear facing and forward facing convertible, 2 forward facing convertibles and now a booster and forward facing. It has handled all that perfectly with plenty of trunk space for strollers, foldable chairs, luggage, etc. I’m just shy of having the vehicle for 6 years (the longest I’ve ever kept a vehicle!) and starting to think about what vehicle will be next - I’m unsure if I’ll like anything as much as I’ve liked this car.

We have loved this car! We’ve put a ton of miles on it (100k+ in 4 years)! We’ve gone from 1 kid to 2 in this pathfinder. It’s been reliable under the hood as well as in the tech. I appreciate the safety features it does have as a 2018 and the lowest trim level! The infant seat and RF Evenflo 360 slim fit just right behind the driver (5’9”). In a booster- my son was quickly able to learn to buckle/unbuckle with the seatbelt. Could it fit 3 across? Maybeee with the right combo? When a friend carpooled with us I tried a Graco TriRide + Evenflo 360 slim + Graco Turn to Me and couldn’t get it to fit. This pathfinder has the car seat tilt (only on the passenger side) so I’m able to utilize that + the rotating seat combo to get good 3rd row access. We’ve absolutely loved this van! It’s been perfect for our growing family and has been so easy to adapt as our needs have changed. Most of the time, our oldest rides in the third row while our younger two are in the second row with the middle seat removed, which gives us so much extra space. A few times a year when we travel, we pop the middle seat back in and all three fit comfortably across the second row. We have the EX trim, and while I do miss a few of the tech features that some other minivans offer (and I really wish it had ceiling air vents for the kids!), those are pretty minor compared to everything this van does well. Overall, we’ve been so happy with our purchase and would definitely buy it again.

This is actually my 16 year olds first car!! Safety was my biggest priority, and knowing it has excellent crash ratings and plenty of driver-assistance features gave me so much peace of mind. It's also the perfect size, easy for a new driver to maneuver but still substantial enough to feel safe on the road. The visibility is great, and the technology is simple enough that it isn't distracting for my teenager. He loves the updated styling and modern interior, which makes him excited to drive it without feeling like it's a "mom car." If you're looking for a dependable, safe, and practical first vehicle for your teen, I honestly don't think you can go wrong with the CR-V.

First of all, I love my car. It’s so easy to drive, I like the size of it, and I love my trunk space. I can fit a double stroller so easy in it. No ceiling vents though is a bummer. The radio/heat/A/C is mostly buttons which I appreciate. I like Apple car play but I know having knobs and buttons so I can adjust settings without looking at a screen. However I’ve had some maintenance issues. My A/C went out around 90,000 miles. Then the fuel pump went out at 112,00 miles. I’ve been the only owner so we know it’s been taken care of as far as maintenance. If you are tall though and max out rear facing, it gets tight. I’ve had to move my seat forward as my kids get taller. My son is almost 4 and the passenger seat feels like your knees are shoved into the dash with the car seat behind. We do Evenflo revolve 360 slim and my son is 35 pounds rear facing. Overall I still love my car, and I will pay the repair bill over getting a new car. But my husband and I are starting to question the reliability.

I love this car! It's been super reliable, with keeping up to date on scheduled maintenance, and it's so comfortable. The included safety tech, such as steering responsive headlights, emergency braking assist, blind spot monitoring, provides so much peace of mind when it comes to driving around my family! We have had a variety of child carseats in the back seat - Chicco Keyfit30, Graco Extend2Fit 3in1, Graco 4Ever DLX, Nina Rava, and Evenflo Revolve Extend - and they have all fit super well with easy installations. Additionally, trunk is so spacious and can fit a Baby Trend Navigator stroller wagon perfectly, with a little bit of room to spare. The details on this site for the 2021 states that the rear seat head restraints are not removable, but that is incorrect. They can all be removed to accommodate a forward facing seat if needed.

As a mom of bigger kids (only 1 in a booster), I was ready to move past the minivan. I loved my Sienna for the time I had it but the Lexus TX 350 luxury is an incredible vehicle. I have never loved a car as much as I love my TX, "Rex." Something that really sold me on the TX was that it has 2 seats in the third row that are wide and comfortable rather than cramped with a useless middle seat. Since my kids are big (one taller than me and the other the same height as me), comfort in the third row was a major priority. Another priority was ease of getting the 3rd row seats up and down. I can do that easily with automatic buttons from several different places in the car. My final major priority was that I could fit at least one hockey bag in the trunk with the 3rd row up and in the TX, I can! I can fit 2 hockey bags stacked in the trunk with the 3rd row up or I can easily put down 1 or both 3rd row seats for more trunk space. Rex looks fancy, I love the car play compatibility, the brake hold is a feature I love, and the smooth ride is exceptional. I test drove a Navigator L and Yukon XL and those felt like I was driving a bus. I wanted a vehicle big enough to haul my big kids and their hockey bags, but not as big as a bus. The TX gives me all of those things. We've driven Rex on cross country road trips with a roof box and hitch cargo carrier and the TX handled ski equipment for 5 plus all of our necessities for a week of skiing in the mountains (about 1,000 miles 1 way). There isn't one thing I would change about Rex. I just love her SO much!!

I'm one of the moms Kelly calls out who has 2 kids and loves their Mazda CX-5. I bought it when I was expecting my second and definately thought there was more leg room than there was because I installed my older son in the car during test drive. I did forget the infant seat took up more space front to back. My husband couldn't sit in the passenger seat for the 6 months baby was in the infant seat but we moved him to a Britax Poplar and gained so much leg room. I have sat between my kids' car seats and it's a squeeze but doable but I am a size 6 pants so take that with a grain of salt. Beyond the back seat, I love the trunk space. I've fit so many weird things in it over the years including a cozy coupe while still having a car seat installed. I wish the display screen was touch screen but I believe that was fixed in newer models. It drives like any other Mazda I've owned which is why I keep going back to them.

I cannot get over how spacious this truck is. We can do any combination of car seats in the back when my husband is driving some of our five kids. Everyone is always comfortable with room to spare. The console is massive and compartmentalized so it’s not total chaos. I gave it less stars on technology because the wireless charger is goofy.

We got this as a 2-3 week rental while my car had hail damage fixed. I loved the functionality of it and for a minivan it really was nice. I just felt too low to the ground (I drive an expedition). My kids LOVE the doors and it was nice to be able to whip it anywhere! Overall if I had to get a van this would be it!

I love this car. My rating for interior design wasn’t a 5 due to 1) not having ceiling vents and 2) all of the tech being within the screen. The volume controls are on the steering wheel, which is great, but I wish atleast the A/C had actual buttons or knobs. For example, in the summer, when the car gets really hot, you can’t immediately use the screen so you have to let it cool off to be able to adjust the air or change the radio. It doesn’t take extremely long, I would just prefer a little more efficiency for the common buttons. Third row is roomy and I love the side vents, cup holder options, and charging ports. My kids love the side vents too. As an adult, the seat itself could be a little more comfortable in my opinion.

S-trim with Captain's Chairs. SUV has been great addition to our family for daily use (2 children in carseats occupy the captains chairs) and travel (third row is used for dog and/or adult passengers). For daily use the features are ample and meet expectations; although wireless Android Auto would be a plus! Third row access is infrequent but hard for adult passengers (but not impossible). Frequent recalls has been the greatest downside.

We have the 8 passenger bench and love it. The third row we keep down, but have used it on occasion. Before our third I sat in the middle for road trips between the two car seats without issues. One thing to note is the 8 passenger has the outboard seatbelts on the side panel rather than built into the seat so you cannot move the seat if you have a seatbelt installed car seat. We absolutely love the van and are waiting for our rear entry wheelchair conversion short cut 2026 XLE 8 passenger to replace our current 2021 XLE 8 passenger.

This car has been a workhorse for my family. We have two boys, 8 and 10. Their baseball bags and two chairs fit in the trunk with the third row which has been great. On roadtrips we do put the third row down and use all the space. If I had 3 kids it would be tight but for our family of four it works perfectly.

The space in this car is great for our family of 4 (1 RF toddler & 1 FF harness). Trunk capacity is superb and it’s a comfortable ride when we’re driving around to activities. Our issue has been with the PHEV tech and the amount of recalls including the fear of not being able to plug it in as it might catch fire, meaning the electric portion has been useless for a large chunk of our lease.

As a mom of 1 living in an urban area, I absolutely loved the Volvo XC40. Extremely comfortable ride, reliable, amazing technology (the 360 cam is my absolute favorite feature), top of the line safety features, feels extremely luxurious without the heafty price tag of other luxury cars in the same size, and really great trunk space for only having 1 kid. Now that I have become a mom of 3 (just delivered twins), we are in the market for moving from the small size SUV to midsize SUV (since we still live in an urban area moving up to full size just doesn’t make sense for now for parking reasons/ease of getting around day to day). Unfortunately, I cannot imagine getting around day to day comfortably with 3 rear facing car seats & the trunk feels like it will now be much too small.

I really love this car for my two kids, having the third row down allows for a lot of trunk space. I love the look of the car inside and out, so many people comment on how nice the car looks. Having 3+ kids in this car would not be as convenient, if the third row is folded up for a passenger the trunk space is very limited and I have to take the wheels off of my double BOB stroller so it will fit. I have captains chairs in the middle row, but it’s hard to get to the third row even for a child & if I had a child in the back I have to buckle them through the trunk. No rear facing car seats fit in the third row & only one FF car seat can be used in the third row because of the lack of tether anchors. There is only one tether anchor and if you are using that you can only fold down one seat because the tether is in the seat that has two seats together. Overall I love this car for 2 kids, but would not recommend to someone with 3+ kids or for someone needing to use the 3rd row often. Can it work, yes. Would I choose it for 3+ kids, no.

I absolutely love my TX. It’s comfortable, easy to drive, and so spacious. I have the captains’ chairs, so it’s super easy to get into the third row. The third row is comfortable and plenty of leg room. The trunk is large enough that I can keep my third row up for everyday use, and if I do need to put the third row down it takes seconds.

Love my Sequoia. It has a 60/40 bench that accentuates up to three car seats. We have it set up with two boosters in the third row and RF & FF car seats on the 60% portion of the second row. An adult has plenty of space next to the middle seat car seat. Love the drive - responsive and handles well. We use it to tow our camping trailer and it is easy to tow and handle the camper. Wish it had a little more trunk space but the shelf helps a lot.

This has been a great family vehicle. Purchased when we had two children in car seats and now as a family with three children. We have a super crew cab (I think that’s what it’s called), and it is incredibly spacious even with three car seats across. My husband added a truck bed cover, per my request, and it has been a good addition. I don’t love to load groceries into it, but for every day driving, dropping off kids, and road trips it is comfortable, easy to get in/out of, has good visibility, and the kids have plenty of room. It has also been extremely reliable.

5+ years with our Palisade (limited trim with bench seat) and we still love it. The tech and interior features are great and feel more upscale than the price. I’m 5’10 and my husband is 6’4 and we both are comfortable in the driver and passenger seats, even with a rear facing car seat behind. A major criterion when we purchased was that my husband could sit comfortably in the second row behind a driver of his same height. The only reason I gave 4 starts for 2nd row comfort is it’s uncomfortable to sit in the middle bench seat between two car seats, and also can’t fit 3 across. Love our palisade and plan to drive it a long time!

We've been the sole owner for 5 years, purchased new. We are around 93,000 miles in and have not needed any maintenance besides routine and recalls. It has served us well with what started as 3 kids and now we have 5 in it. 3 kids are in 5 point harness car seats still. It doesn't feel cramped, everyone has enough space. My favorite set up with this car is to have the two seats next to each other in the middle and take one out on a side for easier entry for all the rear row kids.

While I don't personally own a Chrysler Pacifica, I've rented one several times for family vacations, and it has become my go-to rental whenever it's available. My husband isn't a minivan person, so we own an SUV, but anytime we're traveling and need a rental, I always choose the Pacifica. With three kids, it's simply hard to beat the practicality. For our family of five, we typically travel with three car seats, three suitcases, a stroller, and all the extras that come with young kids. The Pacifica handles it effortlessly. The captain's chairs in the second row make it easy to get everyone buckled in, and the third row is spacious enough that it never feels like a compromise. Even with all three rows in use, there's still plenty of room in the back for our luggage and stroller. The sliding doors are another feature I really appreciate, especially in busy parking lots or when loading little ones. It makes getting kids in and out so much easier than a traditional SUV. Every time I drive a Pacifica, I'm reminded why so many families love minivans. It's comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly practical for everyday family life and road trips alike. If you're on the fence about getting a minivan, I highly recommend giving the Pacifica a try—you may find yourself wondering why you waited so long.

We seriously considered purchasing a Ford Expedition while shopping for our next family vehicle. We test drove a used black Expedition with the top-of-the-line trim, and it was incredibly impressive. The interior was spacious, comfortable, and loaded with features we loved—especially the ventilated seats, which are a lifesaver during hot Southern California summers. As a growing family, the extra room was a huge selling point. At the time, I was pregnant with our third child, and the Expedition offered all the space we could have asked for, with plenty of room for passengers and cargo. Ultimately, our decision came down to our specific needs and budget rather than anything lacking in the Expedition itself. Between the fuel economy, financing rates on the used model we were considering, and our family's seating needs, we realized a new 2024 Ford Explorer made more sense for us. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Expedition to families who need the additional space or regularly use all three rows. It's a comfortable, well-equipped SUV that feels designed with families in mind. If our priorities had been different, we likely would have driven home in the Expedition.

My husband owns this truck, and while I don't prefer to drive it because it's huge, it's a great family vehicle. A whole truck bed of cargo, and the back seat is comfortable for adults, even in the middle of the bench between car seats. The battery range is very limited, only up to 150 miles, and therefore NOT the car for road trips.

I drove a Honda Odyssey for several years and had so many problems. Traded for a 2025 toyota sienna last spring and I have been so happy. I get excellent gas mileage and am so happy with the security features. With the second row seats pushed forward, I was able to fit a 6 person patio table in the back! Lots of room and great for hauling kids and bigger items.

The real mom car! The remote start helps with both cooling and heating.Magic slide allows room for diaper changes, kids getting in the third row, and bonus space after a Costco run. Even in Missouri summers, the third row cooling isn't an issue. Ceiling vents aren't the magic solution people think because the top of the car is hot and it spends so much time blowing hot air on kids. Honestly, the lower vents get kids cooler faster. The other problem I see is people putting in the floor mats incorrectly and covering the lower vents and not tucking them under! Trunk space is great for Costco runs and travel. My gas milage is around 24mpg with lots of rural driving.

I LOVED my Highlander...before kids. I bought this car in 2021 when there weren't as many hybrid options on the market. I truly loved the gas mileage (over 30mpg average). The interior was very clean, and comfortable, when no car seats were involved. I had my third row down 99% of the time. With the captains chairs, it made it frustrating that this car was really only a 4 passenger vehicle. The third row is completely useless. My 6 year old niece couldn't even comfortably fit back there. For the price, that just didn't seem worth it to me. We had two kids while we owned this vehicle and the second row legroom was not great for rear facing car seats. The passenger did not have a lot of room to scoot the seat back, which made it uncomfortable for long road trips. Like I said, I truly loved this car, especially when it was just myself or my kiddos in it. I put 120,000 miles on it in 5 years, and I NEVER had one issue. However, once we expanded our family, the captains chairs were just not what we wanted. The trunk comfortably fit our two dogs (pictured), but not much else. I think this car would be better with a bench, slim car seats, and likely for families with 1-2 children. Now, there are better hybrid options out there for families, and that is so wonderful! If I knew then what I know now, I would have looked for a larger mid-size SUV. We traded my vehicle because it still held a solid value for the amount of miles we had on it. However, we would have made it work if we needed to stay in the Highlander. There were no big issues, other than feeling a little snug. Now, we drive a Ford Expedition Max with a bench and could not be happier! We currently have two kids, and plan to have at least one more. Thank you, Kelly, for the recommendation!!

This is a great family car. Wonderful gas mileage and perfect for traveling. We have brought this car around the country and even family members have borrowed her for their trips. We absolutely love it! This car won my husband over to the minivan side. We both love that it’s a hybrid and it drives well. I’m under 5 foot and I have great visibility and can sit comfortably to reach the pedals. Will be sad if we ever have to get rid of her.

I have a Ford Expedition Max (Platinum) with three kids, and it's been an amazing family vehicle. We have captain's chairs in the second row with my younger two kids there, and my oldest rides in the third row. We bought ours used with about 30,000 miles on it, and we've had it for two years now with zero issues. It's been incredibly reliable. I'll be honest—I didn't want this car at first. I was driving a Tahoe and absolutely loved it. When I got pregnant with our third, my husband was convinced we needed the extra cargo space of the extended wheelbase. He's a Ford guy and pushed for the Expedition Max over a Suburban. I agreed to test drive it, but I told him if it drove like a bus or a truck, I wasn't interested. I was completely shocked. It honestly didn't feel any bigger than my Tahoe. In fact, it felt easier to maneuver, and the turning radius is surprisingly tight for such a large SUV. That was what sold me. (the massaging seats might have swayed me as well) I'm now a full-on Ford convert. I still think we probably would have been fine 90% of the time with the standard Expedition, but I really appreciate having the extra cargo space when we're traveling, hauling sports gear, or packing for a family trip. Since ours is a 2021, the technology isn't anything groundbreaking. The screen is on the smaller side, and the backup camera quality isn't the best. But it has Apple CarPlay, which is what I use most anyway, so it hasn't bothered me. Overall, I genuinely love this SUV. It's comfortable, drives great, has been extremely reliable, and I plan to keep it for many years. As a mom of three, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We have absolutely loved our Jeep GCL! It is so underrated and packed with amazing mom car features. My favorites include the “fam cam” rear view camera, built in sunshades, car seat tilt and easy to use infotainment system. I will say finding our Jeep with all the features took some time because most are additional packages or trim options. I really only have two “cons” and that would be the non-removable head restraints in the second and third rows and the lack of ceiling vents (although the side post vents and rear climate control does work pretty well!). The head restraints were a bit of an issue, but with the help of a CPST I was able to find multiple seat options to choose from. I am so happy with our purchase! It’s fun to drive, has plenty of space and feels very very safe!!

This is my husband’s primary car. We have owned this car for 6 years and have gone from 1 to 4 kids and while we all can’t fit in it anymore it still serves us well. The backseat has a lot of space. We have 2 Graco Extend2fits and have kept our kids rear facing until the age of 4. We have a Graco tranzition and have recently converted to a booster, which we pull out and store for when we need to put in our infant Graco GoMax (no base) the truck allows for a lot of flexibility car seat wise. And as an adult (5’8) I can ride comfortably in the back. There are plenty of cup holders and a deep center console storage. The front seat is average. Good leg room and comfortable ride. The infotainment is good, although our Apple car play stopped working with the newest iPhone however we did buy a wireless adapter. We plan to keep this truck until it dies and have had no issues as we have kept up on our scheduled maintenance. Definitely very family friendly!

I have loved this car! We take road trips about once a month that are 3.5 hours each way to visit family and it is able to fit us and our golden retriever comfortably. We add a rooftop carrier if we are going for longer than a weekend or for a ski trip to accommodate all our stuff with the space for the dog. I especially love the FamCam feature and the built in sunshades, which were options available on my trim. I also love how the car is technically midsized but feels more like a truck because of how high up off the ground it is. I really love the drive and it was the ultimate reason I went with the car. I test drove the atlas and it still felt too low to the ground for me. The biggest qualm I have is the non-removable headrests, which make it very difficult to figure out the best car seat set up with three young kids. We opted for two Graco slimfit 3lx and 1 Clek fllo. We normally have two car seats in the second row and one in the back, but we are able to fit three across when we need to. The car seat tilt makes this set up easier to make work with loading and unloading. We plan to use the slimfit in booster mode once my oldest is ready, given other high back boosters were difficult to fit with the headrests.

I absolutely love my Kia telluride sx-pro. The safety features are top notch especially the blind spot cameras! The car is extremely kid friendly with second row space, ceiling vents, and usb-c outlets. The only negative that someone would run into is the third row only has one true tether for a rear facing car seat. Overall I always recommend my car for the comfort and space!

I absolutely love this van and plan to drive it until the wheels fall off! Right now we have one child, but we’re planning for two, and we also have a large dog that rides with us all the time. One of the best things we’ve done is remove one of the second-row outboard seats and put down a mat to create a “home base.” It has been amazing! My daughter can use her travel potty there when needed, we have plenty of room to store all of our gear, and our dog can easily hop into the third row. It has made road trips and everyday outings so much more convenient. We had a firm budget of $25,000, so we purchased the base model, and I’ve been incredibly impressed with everything it includes. The features and value are outstanding. The only things I really miss are a power liftgate, a car-seat camera, and a front parking camera. While those would be nice to have, they definitely weren’t worth the higher price tag for our budget. I especially love the abundance of cup holders, the ceiling air vents for every row, and the charging ports throughout the cabin. Those little conveniences make a big difference for a family. My only lingering concern is long-term reliability. Since the Carnival is still a relatively new model, it doesn’t have the decades-long track record that some competitors do. That said, I’m hopeful it will prove to be a reliable vehicle because, so far, it has exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for an incredibly practical, family-friendly vehicle with excellent value, I highly recommend the Kia Carnival to ANYONE!

We have the Chevy Tahoe First responder edition so it is a little different and does not have the third row but the second row bench is amazing! It is so spacious and I can fit 3 Nuna ravas across in it, great lower anchors in each seat. Our model does not have a middle seat head restraint but that does not affect us now since all kids are in car seats and will not be out of them by the time we are done with this car in a few years. Good technology but the Apple CarPlay can be finicky at times. Great trunk space. The whole first row setup is different for our version so I can’t speak to that.

We purchased our Ford Explorer when I was pregnant with our third child, and it has been an excellent family vehicle through every stage we've gone through. At the time, we had one child in a high-back booster and another in a forward-facing car seat. When our youngest was born, we temporarily used the third row so our oldest could ride comfortably in the booster. As our kids have grown, our seating configuration has changed, and the Explorer has adapted with us. One of the biggest reasons we chose the Explorer over the Expedition was that the second-row bench is wide enough to fit three child seats across. Today, we have our 20-month-old in a rear-facing car seat behind the passenger seat, our oldest in a booster in the center, and our middle child in a forward-facing car seat behind the driver. Everything fits comfortably without feeling cramped, and everyone has easy access to their seats. Because all three kids fit across the second row, we can keep the third row folded down most of the time, which gives us a huge cargo area for strollers, groceries, sports equipment, luggage, or anything else that comes with family life. That extra storage has been invaluable. If you're a growing family trying to decide between a midsize and a full-size SUV, don't overlook the Explorer. For us, it has provided the flexibility we need for three kids while still being easier to drive, park, and fuel than a larger SUV. It's been a great fit for our family, and we've been very happy with our decision.

I LOVE my Odyssey! I knew I wanted it as soon as I saw Kelly’s review. I only have to kids but we were originally planned for 3 when we bought it. We usually keep the middle seat out in the second row so I can use the major slide for my car pool kiddos! I love the functionality of it. My car play as not worked for some time but that just might be my issue and not necessarily the cars! Only thing I wish was different was that it was a hybrid. We did over 24,000+ miles in our first year due to heavy pickups between school and therapy for my kiddos. OVERALL, love this car even for 2 kiddos!

I have loved my Atlas. My two kids have plenty of space in the second row and I have plenty of storage in the back for work equipment. When we want to drive family it is quick to get to the third row with the car seat tilt. It's a comfortable drive and has good power when trying to pick it up quick on the highway. We do a lot of driving through a mountain pass and the Atlas does well maintaining power as we gain elevation.

The sienna is a great car for families with 3+ kids! It’s extremely reliable. We drive a lot (I’ve put 100k miles in 3.5 years) and the only thing we’ve had to do is change the car battery. I average 35mpg in the North TX heat even!

I got this car when I went from 1-2 kids knowing I wanted a third. I went with the hybrid limited and added on the 360 camera which was such a great choice. Pros: great gas mileage, comfortable, ceiling vents in all 3 rows!, big second and third row, car seats fit well behind passenger/driver seats, phone chargers everywhere, sun shades built in on second row, amazing trunk space with third row down. trunk space with third row up was still really good, buttons to control and the touch screen is great, the 360 view camera makes it so easy to park, the light interior was beautiful. Cons: no car seat tilt, third row didn’t have lower anchors and tethers on every seat, small middle third row seat that is not useable for a car seat. I did just have to get the battery replaced because it was defective but it was covered under my warranty. Overall I am super happy with this car and have minimal to no complaints

I've never understood the hate minivans get and always knew we'd get one when it came time to trade in my small sedan from college (10+years old). I guess I don't care about the aesthetics of a car as much as functionality, in which a minivan can't be beat imo (to be fair, we don't live somewhere where we deal with severe weather regularly, so no AWD/4WD needed). Here are reasons we choose the Sienna over the other minivans: -Hybrid standard! We were avoiding the Pacifica like the plague knowing we wanted multiple kids and not wanting the headache of car seats in the 3rd row. The Carnival didn't offer a hybrid option at the time. -Ceiling vents. They are a deal breaker for us (I know, I know, don't yell at me Kelly!). Our rear-facing toddler gets car sick very easily and direct cool air helps her so much. Overall we LOVE our Sienna and would choose it again! But there is one big thing we could change if we could: -3rd row access is the biggest ick! We have the XLE with bench and the seatbelts are attached to be wall of the car rather than the seat. If a car seat is installed with the seat belt, we can't move the seat forward for access. Our best options are to remove the middle seat of the second row or partially fold down the 3rd row and climb in through the trunk. I don't love either option and definitely envy the Odyssey's magic slide in those moments (and grateful we don't have to use the 3rd row regularly...yet). As mentioned, we chose the XLE with the bench so that we had the option to sit with the kids when necessary. I've spent many road trips in that second row middle seat between 2 car seats and am perfectly comfortable (and I'm not a small lady, especially in my hips). I don't think a car seat would fit well in the middle seat (for a 3 across situation), but it fits a (slightly above) average adult just fine.

I absolutely love my expedition. It has great room for all 7 passengers and I have even ridden in the middle 3rd row seat on occasion. I have the bench 2nd row on the limited trim. I love that I was able to get features like a 360 camera without going to the highest trim level. I do wish there was more of the climate as actual buttons. The volume and fan share the same knob and that can be frustrating. Overall I love this car!

I love how my Sienna has a removable bench seat. It makes the van have more options for car seat installation once we decide to have baby #3! Very roomy 2nd and 3rd row. We have had guys over 6ft tall ride in the 3rd row with zero issues. We have the hybrid version which is amazing with gas prices being so high in Washington. I am looking forward to driving this van for many years to come!

We love our 2022 Honda Passport. We bought it in Colorado and have lived in Arizona and Tennessee since buying it and it has done great in all seasons and driving conditions. It has done many 1,000 mile road trips with no issues while loaded with Christmas presents and a large dog. We’ve installed a Nuna Pipa and an Evenflo Revolve 360 Slim in it easily and love how easy the LATCH is to access. I imagine it being a 3 across machine once the time comes and we hope to have it for many more years.
