The Exterior
A Sophisticated Exterior
The Lincoln Aviator was redesigned in 2020, and its styling still feels fresh today. The front grille features Lincoln's signature chrome design with repeating Lincoln emblems, while sleek headlights and sculpted hood lines give it an elegant appearance.
Along the side, chrome window trim and distinctive Aviator badging help elevate the overall design. While the rear light bar isn't my favorite styling element, the Aviator still has a refined presence that stands out in the luxury SUV segment.
First Row
An Interior That Feels Truly Luxurious
The Aviator's cabin immediately feels upscale. Premium wood trim, soft-touch materials, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a large head-up display all contribute to a high-end driving experience.
One thing Lincoln gets right is balancing technology with usability. While the touchscreen handles navigation and entertainment, important climate controls remain physical buttons, making them much easier to adjust while driving.
The standout feature, however, is the front seats. They offer extensive adjustability, massage functions, heating, ventilation, and exceptional support. They're easily some of the most comfortable seats I've experienced in any SUV.
Second Row
The Lincoln Aviator offers captain's chairs in the second row, and every rear seating position includes both lower anchors and tether anchors for car seats—a huge win for growing families.
The second row provides comfortable space for adults while also making it easy to install rear-facing and forward-facing car seats. Built-in window shades are another thoughtful feature parents will appreciate.
Third Row
Accessing the third row is simple thanks to a power-tilting second-row seat. While legroom in the third row is best suited for kids or shorter passengers, I was able to successfully install a forward-facing car seat, making it a practical option for larger families.
Trunk
One of the biggest surprises was the cargo area. Even with the third row upright, I was able to fit a Zoe Twin+ double stroller in the back with room to spare.
Underfloor storage provides additional space for emergency supplies, sports gear, or extra baby essentials, and folding the third row creates a large, flat cargo area for even more versatility.
