I wanted a smaller car after driving a Wagoneer, but still needed to accommodate 3 kids in car seats/boosters. We started with 2 FF, 1 RF and now have 2 in boosters, 1 FF. We have the captains chairs in the second row which is super comfortable for my kids. We have done 2 kids in the 2nd row, 1 in 3rd as well as 2 in the 3rd, 1 in 2nd with the other captain’s chair folded down for car line drop off. Pros: great tech, easy to park, feels sporty and cool, can fit kids + backpacks or groceries in trunk. Can fit double BOB in trunk with one seat folded down. Car seats/boosters fit great in each seat, can fit 2 car seats in 3rd row. 4 tether anchors, super easy to find and install car seats safely. Cons: child in 3rd row is sometimes too hot/cold (no rear ceiling vents), I do wish it was a little bigger. No LATCH in 3rd row for booster but per our manual we can use without. Overall this car has served our family so well in this season! Full disclosure when my lease is up we plan to go back to a full size SUV. This is mostly due to my kids growing, and us wanting to be able to bring friends along with us to activities. However, this vehicle is definitely getting the job done and I could continue to drive it indefinitely.
